Also referred to as Schichidanka Mountain Hydrangea. Double starry like lacecap blooms. Blooms turn pink to lavender-blue depending on the soil. I chose this hydrangea mainly for its Fall foliage as the leaves are supposed to turn a pretty orange. Prefers moist-moist soil I will deep water at least weekly during the summer in addition to our sprinkler schedule. Growth is compact reaching 4 x 4 ft at maturity. It is in a very dry/sunny area of our yard so we will see how it does. |
